It was great to see how well Kerry has done in the Irish Businesses Against Litter survey.
Considering everything has happened in 2020 its wonderful to see all the work that's been done. Even though the normal groups were not allowed during the pandemic it is obvious that
individuals have continued to do their best the keep the County clean.
The biggest problem now seems to be empty coffee cups and used P.E. so although its great that we can still get our take away coffees and we’re good to wear our masks lets remember to dispose of them the right way.
Once again well done to all involved in keeping us clean and green. !!!!!!!!!!! ... See MoreSee Less

I am the Local Coordinator for a new exciting EU research project , taking place on the Iveragh Peninsula. The overall aim of LIVE (Llŷn IVeragh Eco-museums) is to enable coastal communities to promote their natural and cultural assets, creating opportunities for sustainable tourism, especially outside of the traditional peak tourist seasons. In Kerry, we consist of UCC, SDDP and Kerry County Council. Our website is www.ecomuseumlive.eu/
We are currently carrying out a PPGIS survey, a form of community mapping, and I was wondering if it would be possible to send our this survey to your network. While we are targeting residents in Iveragh, we are happy for anyone with good knowledge of the peninsula to fill in the survey. W e would have loved to run the survey in person, but instead we are offering the community the option of online survey, hard copies and optional phone or video call support.
