3rd Kerry Milltown Scout Group

We are 3rd Kerry Milltown Scout group. Our parent organisation is Scouting Ireland, which is a registered charity.We are based in the old Community Hall, Milltown, which we rent from Milltown Community Council. We have 61 youth members, ranging in age from 6 to 17, both boys and girls. We have 18 adult volunteer leaders. The ethos of scouting is to encourage the social, physical, intellectual, character, emotional and spiritual development of our members. This is done through small groups, working with adults, with a youth led approach. The leadership and team working skills acquired through this approach help our members to become self-reliant, confident children, who will go on to become responsible adults and role models for the next generation.
