Kerry Businesswomen’s Network
Social Inclusion |
The Kerry Businesswomen’s Network has gone from strength to strength particularly in the last number of years and is now per population, one of Ireland’s largest female networking organisations. Businesswomen from various professional backgrounds, from all over Kerry now attend the monthly meetings which vary in style and content. The organisation is passionate about providing high quality events which deliver information, education and support services. Members benefit from meeting and collectively motivating each other while encouraging inter-trade among their businesses. Inter-trade is a key element to the promotion of the Kerry economy and KBN advocates a strong stay local, buy local initiative. In addition KBN wish to strengthen the back bone of businesses in Kerry by helping women to market their company’s beyond the Kerry boundary and into the national and international landscape. 2015 sees the start of their international network connection programme, where they will connect with different networks on an international scale each year, as a way of promoting Kerry businesswomen throughout the world. The unique quality of KBN is the blend of professions, business owners, entrepreneurs, managers and business minded women who have joined the organisation. These women have a willingness to drive their business, build relationships, learn from their peers and have an open minded and positive view of what the future holds.
