Kerry Motor Club
Kerry Motor Club promotes and organizes motorsport and motoring events in North and West Kerry. We have been in existence for over 40 years. The club is affiliated to Motorsport Ireland, the sport’s governing body and we subscribe to their rules and regulations We run two major events each year – The Circuit of Kerry in April and the Kerry Winter Rally in November. But events are run to strict budgets and operate at a “break even” return. Current membership stands at 130, mainly from the Tralee and North Kerry area. We cater for junior drivers (over 16 in controlled environments) and our members compete all over Ireland and beyond. We also supply volunteer marshals to other Irish motorsport events and local classic car runs and the like. We are a non-profit organization that relies on membership and volunteers to keep our sport going in the county – a tradition that stems back to 1903 when the second ever motorsport event in Ireland took place in Ballyfinnane County Kerry.
